Part One: The Initial Set-Up

The first lessons are the most important lessons for young violinists. We want our students to find a good balance between the bow arm and fingers with physically free motions in a non-judgmental environment. Developing the initial bow strokes of martele, detache and legato set the stage for all technical and musical things to come.

Part Three: The Importance of a Repertoire Sequence

As teachers, we are always looking for new and different repertoire. We want our students to be able to perform the glorious violin repertoire with security and ease. This session will explore a repertoire pathway which lays the foundation to reach this goal.

Online lectures with Zoom

All lectures will be presented on Zoom. If the day and time does not work for you, that’s no problem! We always allow asynchronous attendance to all registered participants.

Lectures will be filmed and placed online for viewing until October 30, 2022.
