Purpose of the Piano Accompaniments

These piano accompaniments are designed to support rhythm and pitch reading in a clear, focused, and motivating way.


Rhythm Exercises

  • A short 2-measure introduction establishes a clear basic pulse

  • The piano accompaniment keeps the tempo steady and reliable

  • All three rhythm exercises together last about 1 minute, supporting focused concentration

  • Clapping along with the piano makes rhythm practice clear and enjoyable


Pitch Exercises

  • A 1-measure introduction establishes the starting pitches for singing

  • The piano supports accurate intonation

  • The steady accompaniment helps students pace their sight-singing rhythmically

  • All three pitch exercises together last about 1 minute, keeping the activity short and effective

  • Singing with piano accompaniment makes pitch work musical and engaging


Combined Exercise Package

  • At the end of each step, one audio track combines all rhythm and pitch exercises

  • This complete exercise package lasts less than 2 minutes

  • Practicing all exercises in sequence helps reinforce and stabilize the learning content
