{"id":186,"date":"2020-05-20T19:35:13","date_gmt":"2020-05-20T17:35:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.imtex-online.com\/mediathek\/?page_id=186"},"modified":"2020-10-25T18:14:41","modified_gmt":"2020-10-25T17:14:41","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.imtex-online.com\/mediathek\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the IMTEX ONLINE MEDIA\nLIBRARY?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IMTEX ONLINE MEDIA LIBRARY is a\nmusic-oriented website that distributes articles, digital sheet music, MP3\nfiles, and videos on the Web for streaming, immediate download, or printing by\nmusic teachers, their students, and music lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our digital library has existed since 2004, provided by the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.germansuzuki.com\/\"><strong>German Suzuki Association<\/strong><\/a> (Deutsche Suzuki Gesellschaft e.V., gegr. 1983). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A large part of the audio files were produced by the German Suzuki Institute<\/strong> <strong>more than 20 years ago under its own copyright protection<\/strong>, and have served as test files for many years. These recordings have been available  as part of the Online Media Library since 2004. Even today, these recordings still serve effectively because they can be easily combined with the pieces and exercises of the  violin series <em>Step by Step<\/em> and <em>Recital Training <\/em>by Kerstin Wartberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the IMTEX ONLINE MEDIA\nLIBRARY are invited to share materials, ideas, and tips. We want to encourage\nmusic teachers to present their own materials to the online media library, such\nas original sheet music for teaching, essays for parents, videos, compositions\nfor students, arrangements for mixed-level ensembles, etc., and to motivate a\nlively exchange between members of the global teaching community.
