Helping Students Build Focus & Attention

Focus and attention play an important role in every student’s learning process. What do educators need to understand about the development of focused attention, and how can we best support students as these skills emerge and grow?

This research-based session explores how children develop focus, practical strategies for strengthening attention over time, and ways to support students with diverse learning needs as they develop this essential skill.
