Course Overview

This three-part international teacher training course focuses on practical and effective ways of teaching Bach’s Violin Concerto in A minor.

All three movements of the concerto are covered across the sessions:

  • Session 1: First Movement – Part 1 (with Q&A)
  • Session 2: First Movement – Part 2 and Second Movement
  • Session 3: Third Movement (with Q&A)

Rather than focusing on musicological or historical theory, the course emphasizes a clear, structured, and practice-based approach to teaching.

How do students really learn this concerto?

What are the most common challenges? And how can we guide them step by step toward a beautiful, confident, and expressive performance?

This international teacher training offers a clear, structured, and practice-based approach to teaching Bach’s Violin Concerto in A minor.

What the Course Offers

This course is designed especially for violin teachers who are looking for clear and practical tools for teaching the Bach A minor concerto.

  • typical student problems
  • structured preparatory exercises
  • tone beauty and musical playing
  • practical and effective teaching strategies

All content is experience-based and can be applied directly in lessons.

Interactive Learning

This is not a lecture, but an interactive training.

Participants are invited to:

  • play along with selected exercises
  • or simply observe and listen

Both approaches support the learning process.

Materials Included

You can fully participate without owning Recital Training, Volume 3 (Kerstin Wartberg, Edition Peters).

All participants receive:

  • selected PDF materials
  • audio tracks for practice and teaching

These materials support both the sessions and your own teaching afterwards.

The audio materials are available for a limited time after the course.

The course is based on
